CHARACTER & STYLE

This is an exuberantly-designed hotel, from the wood-panelled lifts that transport guests to a bright red reception desk on the sixth floor, to the lobby with its artworks and sheepskin-covered throne chair. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the hotel with natural light.

THE FACILITIES

Level 4 is home to a tranquil spa with five treatment rooms and therapies that range from facials featuring 24 carat gold to a tension release massage using heat and cooling gels. There's also a sauna and a gym where you can work out to a view of Table Mountain.

Food & Drink

You'll find superb South African food and wine at the Willaston Bar and Granary Café. Cocktails feature unusual ingredients such as the Kalahari truffle and rooibos syrup. We loved the Cape Malay cauliflower with sultanas and capers followed by springbok loin with poached pear.

The Granary Café: bar and dining room, contemporary cuisine. All-day dining, open daily.

The Silo Rooftop: rooftop bar and terrace. Serving poke bowls, salads and sharing platters. Open daily from 12pm.
